Batewell Industrial to Sell VoluMill

CAVE CREEK, AZ, Jul 15, 2010 - Celeritive Technologies, Inc. announces the appointment of Batewell Industrial of Shohola, Penn., as a manufacturer’s representative for the ultra-high-performance toolpath engine VoluMill in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York City and Long Island.

VoluMill is a plug-in engine that can be used with any CAM system. It is used in place of traditional roughing toolpath engines when shop productivity is a priority. The use of VoluMill has proven to significantly increase machine capacity utilization, and dramatically reduce per-unit tooling costs on all part geometries and materials.

Batewell Industrial, founded in 2002, serves between 40 and 50 distributors and offers end mills by K-Tool, Helical Solutions, Regal Cutting Tools, Tool Flo and George Whalley Co. It has a staff of two and approximate annual revenues in excess of $1.6 million.

Bruce Batewell, owner and president of Batewell Industrial, says he decided to offer VoluMill, a software product, because he believes the use of VoluMill, “Is a positive development and will improve the use of the end mills he sells.”
